SIESTA KEY AREA BEACHES
Siesta Key Area Beaches
Siesta Key Public Beach stretches along a half-mile of the most unspoiled white sands in the world. The sand is cool to the touch even under the hot sun. Lifeguards are on duty all year, and there are tennis, volleyball, softball and food concession facilities available.
Turtle Beach is located at the southern end of Siesta Key. Turtle Beach is without lifeguards and concessions but does offer lots of picnic tables, pavilions with grills, parking, and playground equipment.
Located just south of Siesta Key Public Beach, Crescent Beach extends about one and a half miles toward Point of Rocks, where scuba and snorkeling opportunities await.
Starting at the southern tip of Siesta Key, Palmer Point Beach continues onto the north end of Casey Key. Because a natural land barrier closed off a waterway for boats, the beach now allows uninterrupted walking all the way down to Casey Key. There are no lifeguards and no facilities.
Turtle Beach Pier, Siesta Key
Turtle Beach Pier is a well-liked fishing destination on Siesta Key for local fisherman and visiting anglers of all ages and abilities.
